know your strengths, and those of others
Last Friday, the 2nd local CDG-Booster Meetup was held in Lahti, Finland. The participants were encouraged to delve into understanding the driving forces that make them work well in certain situations and struggle in others.
Marjut Suokas, one of the CDG-Booster experts, spoke about understanding one’s natural tendencies and how they affect operational models in various aspects of work and business. When you know what you are good at, especially what you’re capable and not capable of, networking is raised to a different level. Knowing where to look and being brave enough to ask will put even the smallest entrepreneurs on a growth path if you have an idea but only a handful of resources to make it into an actual project. Ari Hautaniemi underlined this with a few examples of successful business ideas that grow exponentially by using networks' power and modern, easily accessible technology.
